Duncan Foster is an RIBA Chartered Architect , committed to creating bespoke, contemporary, well crafted architecture which is inspired by its context and informed by the clients brief. Prior to establishing the practice in 2003 Duncan was the design Architect with AFM architects working for Urban Splash on the £10million redevelopment of the ‘Brewhouse’ Building in the Royal William Yard in Plymouth. The project was awarded an RIBA regional award & a ‘Housing Design Award’. Duncan was nominated for both RIBA Presidents Bronze and Silver Medals, and obtained a 1st Class Honours Degree whilst at University. He qualified in 1998, and went on to work in private practice specialising in high end private residential work on a range of projects from £100k to £10m in value.As a sole practitioner Duncan is now involved in projects ranging in value from £250k to £3m. The majority of the practice's work is in London and the South-East, although he is currently involved in a project in the Dartmoor National Park in South Devon.The practices' work has been well published nationally, both in periodicals and online webzines.
