Duncan Foster is an RIBA Chartered Architect, committed to creating bespoke, contemporary, well-crafted architecture which is inspired by its context and informed by the clients’ brief.

Prior to establishing the practice in 2003, Duncan was the design architect with AFM architects working for Urban Splash on the £10m redevelopment of the ‘Brewhouse’ Building in the Royal William Yard in Plymouth. The project was awarded an RIBA regional award and a Housing Design Award.

Duncan was nominated for both RIBA presidents Silver and Bronze Medals, and obtained a 1st Class Honours Degree whilst at University. He qualified in 1998, and went on to work in several award winning practices specialising in high end private residential work on a range of projects from £100k to £10m in value.

As a sole practitioner Duncan is now involved in projects ranging in value from £250k to £2m. The majority of the practice’s work is in London and the Home Counties, although his work includes projects in Devon , Cornwall , Wales and the Cotswolds.
